GALIONIQ is a Barcelona-based electrical engineering firm. We design and commission electrical systems for industry and energy: renewables, water treatment, cogeneration, and data centers, with specialization in drives and medium voltage. Our projects span Europe, Africa, Japan, and the Caribbean.
Our Story
GALIONIQ Energy was founded by engineers who spent over 15 years in the field, commissioning MV switchgear, debugging protection trips under load, and handing over plants that had to work the first time. We saw the same gap again and again: teams needed partners who could think like owners, not just deliver drawings.
Our founding team brings hands-on experience in medium and low voltage power distribution, industrial automation (PLC/SCADA), and cogeneration plant commissioning. We have personally sized feeders, programmed relay settings, and stayed on site through energization in environments where getting it wrong was not an option.
Clients asked us to bring that rigor abroad, so we took our process international. From Dakar to Santo Domingo, from Tokyo to Barcelona, we show up with clear scope, honest timelines, and engineers who stay until the system is proven.

Our team has commissioned biogas cogeneration plants in rural Europe, installed MV switchgear in West African industrial zones, developed and validated drives and motor control systems in Japan, and started up medium voltage drives for water treatment facilities in the Caribbean.
